Hamilton could be a player to watch as the competition stiffens.

The senior sat out Mississippi State's previous exhibition Sunday with North Carolina State. At the very least, Hubbard is healthy, which has been crucial for the Aggies' recent success. For them, he has averaged at least 17.0 points and 3.0 three-pointers made in each of his underclassman seasons. The team will expect Hubbard to bounce back relatively soon.

Impact Chol had previously dealt with injury issues throughout the offseason but appears to be ready to go heading into the start of the 2026-27 season. The 7-footer announced his return to Mississippi State following an injury-shortened 2025-26 season in which he averaged 1.5 points in 4.4 minutes per game across 15 contests.
