Josh Hubbard - Scores 22 in loss
Hubbard contributed 22 points (7-20 FG, 4-12 3Pt, 4-6 FT), six rebounds, two assists and three steals across 32 minutes during Saturday's 84-79 loss to Missouri.
Impact
Hubbard topped 20 points for the first time in five games, but continued to have issues with efficiency. Over that five-game span, the scoring guard has converted just 29.2 percent of his field goals and 20.5 percent of his 3-pointers. The Bulldogs have lost six of their last seven games to fall down the SEC standings. The team is off until next Saturday when they host Arkansas. Hubbard scored 17 points in the regular season finale loss to the Razorbacks last season.

Jayden Epps - Provides 23 points
Epps accumulated 23 points (9-20 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and four assists over 29 minutes during Saturday's 84-79 loss to Missouri.
Impact
Epps had his second-best scoring game and it was also the second time this season he had taken at least 20 shots in a game. It may not be a coincidence that the Bulldogs have won the last two games that Epps scored less than 10 points (and lost their other six most recent games). The guard has hit 10 3-pointers in his last four games. He is converting just 30.7 percent of his 3-pointers.

Sergej Macura - Posts first double-double
Macura recorded 10 points (5-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt), 10 rebounds, one assist and one steal across 28 minutes during Wednesday's 80-66 victory over LSU.
Impact
Macura is doing some nice board work for the Bulldogs. He has collected 8.8 rebounds over his last four games to go along with 8.3 points. He had his first double-double as Mississippi State snapped a five-game losing streak. The 6-6 sophomore is getting significant minutes off the bench and could be a rebound-based add in bigger leagues.

Quincy Ballard - Starts, scores 13 points
Ballard logged 13 points (5-5 FG, 3-4 FT), nine rebounds and one assist in 23 minutes during Wednesday's 80-66 victory over LSU.
Impact
Ballard moved back into the starting lineup for Jamarion Davis-Fleming after coming off the bench for two games. He had only played a combined 16 minutes as a reserve and produced two points and three rebounds. The Wichita State transfer helped the Bulldogs snap a five-game losing streak and will go for two in a row at Missouri on Saturday.

Josh Hubbard - Held to seven points
Hubbard amassed seven points (2-10 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound, one assist and three steals over 30 minutes during Saturday's 88-56 loss to Vanderbilt.
Impact
This was Hubbard's lowest scoring performance (other than the game in which he got hurt after two minutes). The guard has been in a funk from the field and has only converted 28.6 percent from the field and 25.8 percent on 3-pointers in his last four games. Hubbard will be allowed to shoot himself out of his slump, perhaps starting as early as Wednesday against LSU. Hubbard averaged 28.0 points in a pair of wins over the Tigers last season.

Sergej Macura - Scores eight, grabs eight boards
Macura registered eight points (3-4 FG, 2-2 FT) and eight rebounds over 18 minutes during Saturday's 88-56 loss to Vanderbilt.
Impact
Macura has been effective off the bench for the Bulldogs of late. In his last three games, the 6-9 sophomore has provided 7.7 points on 60.0 percent from the field and 8.3 rebounds. The team has lost its last five games with its last two losses by 20 points or more. Macura and Mississippi State take on LSU on Wednesday in hopes of snapping the losing streak.

Josh Hubbard - Held to 12 points
Hubbard closed Wednesday's 88-68 loss to Texas A&M with 12 points (5-14 FG, 2-8 3Pt), two rebounds and two assists across 30 minutes.
Impact
Hubbard scored his fewest points in conference play and has been struggling with his shot. In his last three games, the 6-1 junior has converted just 30.4 percent from the field and 26.9 percent on 3-pointers. Hubbard has slumped before and will shoot his way out of it. The Bulldogs will look to snap their four-game losing streak on Saturday against similarly slumping Vanderbilt. Hubbard was held to a season-low nine points in the win over the Commodores last season.

ROTOWIRE
Brandon Walker - Scores season-high 16 points
Walker registered a season-high 16 points (7-10 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT) and two rebounds across 18 minutes during Wednesday's 88-68 loss to Texas A&M.
Impact
Walker had been playing insignificant minutes in SEC play, but was given more run in the blowout loss. The 6-8 senior has scored in double digits three times, but this was the first time in the conference schedule. He had scored a combined 12 points in four previous appearances against SEC opponent. The Bulldogs are mired in a four-game losing streak, so maybe the Montana State transfer will play more going forward.

Jamarion Davis-Fleming - Scores 13, grabs eight boards
Davis-Fleming (undisclosed) provided 13 points (6-8 FG, 1-3 FT), eight rebounds and four blocks across 28 minutes during Saturday's 68-67 loss to Ole Miss.
Impact
Davis-Fleming was considered questionable going into the game, but the 6-10 freshman had one of his most productive games. He set season standards in points and blocks, and played his second most minutes. In conference play, Davis-Fleming is averaging 5.6 points on 76.5 percent from the field with 5.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks.

Jayden Epps - Scores 14 in loss
Epps registered 14 points (4-18 FG, 1-12 3Pt, 5-6 FT), four rebounds and three assists in 30 minutes during Saturday's 68-67 loss to Ole Miss.
Impact
Epps has struggled from the field in conference play. In five games against SEC opponents, the 6-2 senior has converted just 32.9 percent on field goals, but is managing to get by on volume. The Bulldogs have lost their last three games after winning their first two in conference and Epps is averaging 14.6 points.

Jamarion Davis-Fleming - Will play Saturday
Davis-Fleming (undisclosed) is good to go for Saturday's matchup versus Ole Miss.
Impact
Davis-Fleming popped up on the injury report in the week but is seemingly healthy enough to play. The 6-foot-10 forward is currently averaging 3.2 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.2 blocks across 18.0 minutes in 17 games this season.

Jamarion Davis-Fleming - Tabbed questionable
Davis-Fleming is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against Ole Miss due to an undisclosed injury.
Impact
Davis-Fleming is at risk of missing his first game of the season, though it's unclear why he's on the injury report. The freshman forward has started in three of his 17 appearances, averaging 3.2 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.2 blocks across 18 minutes on the season.
