Scores three in return
Bittle notched three points (1-5 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), two rebounds and one block over 11 minutes during Thursday's 68-41 loss to Colorado.
Impact
Bittle returned from an eight-game absence Thursday and didn't play a significant role for the Ducks, but it was encouraging to see him back from his foot injury. It wouldn't be surprising to see his playing time tick up as he regains his conditioning.

Scores 10 off the bench
Bittle recorded 10 points (4-6 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 17 minutes during Monday's 80-45 victory over Florida A&M.
Impact
Bittle managed 10 points in just 17 minutes of action during Monday's blowout win over Florida A&M. The 7-foot sophomore appeared in 23 games for the Ducks last season, contributing 1.7 points, 1.9 rebounds and 0.7 blocks on 6.9 minutes per game. It is unclear how large of a role Bittle will have this season, but he is off to a solid start for Oregon.

Improved outside shooting
Bittle has turned heads with his shooting prowess during the preseason, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
Impact
Bittle only shot 52.9 percent from the free throw line and 20.0 percent from three last season, albeit in only 6.9 minutes per game. However, if the 7-footer can be a real outside threat, Oregon will be a formidable team to stop. Bittle is in line to be the team's starting center this season.
