Michigan vs. Oregon Prediction, How to Watch, Odds, Channel - Jan 17

Nate Bittle - Out for approximately one month Bittle (foot) is out for approximately one month, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.

Impact Bittle's last year of collegiate eligibility will be affected by a foot injury he suffered sometime around the Oregon-Nebraska game that saw UO decimated, both in-game and physically. Oregon's team is already without Jackson Shelstad (hand), so the Ducks will have to rely on less proven options to step up while their superstar center recovers. But with Bittle averaging 16.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.3 blocks this season, replacing his production will be incredibly difficult.

Based on the context, it seems like Shelstad will at least miss Saturday's game versus Michigan and will likely miss more time after that. Unfortunately, there is now clear timetable for his return at this time. The junior was averaging 15.6 points, 2.9 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game in his 12 games prior to his injury, so needless to say the Ducks will want him back as soon as possible.

Impact Coach Dana Altman mentioned on Thursday's radio show that Bittle is dealing with a foot injury and expects him to be out a while. Bittle is undergoing an MRI to confirm the severity of the injury. Ege Demir could be the main beneficiary for additional minutes while Bittle is sidelined.

Lin is averaging 13.8 points in those games while shooting 37 percent from distance. The guard has positioned himself for a bigger role even when Shelstad does return.
