Right back into form
Bittle closed with 23 points (6-14 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 10-14 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one block across 34 minutes during Saturday's 68-64 loss to Purdue.
Impact
Bittle returned from a five-game absence and barely missed a beat, matching his second-best minutes total of the season while leading all scorers in the contest. Unfortunately for Bittle and the Ducks, the team has now lost nine in a row, and will essentially need a miraculous run to even make the Big Ten tournament, let alone get into NCAA Tournament consideration.

Available at Purdue
Bittle (foot) is available for Saturday's game at Purdue.
Impact
After a five-game absence that spanned several weeks, Bittle is back in an attempt to finish his senior season strong. The timing could not be better, as Oregon, already without superstar Jackson Shelstad (hand) long-term, announced that regular rotation members Devon Pryor (groin) and Ege Demir (shoulder) would join Shelstad. Bittle, averaging 16.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.3 blocks this season, is expected to carry Oregon to success on both ends of the court as long as his previously injured foot is 100 percent healthy.

May be available Saturday
Bittle (foot) may be available for Saturday's game at Purdue, according to Matt Prehm of 247Sports.com.
Impact
Back on Jan. 16, it was announced that Bittle would be out for at least one month to recover from a foot injury. Fast-forward just a little over two weeks later, and he can easily beat the earlier timetable, doing so with Oregon's next game Saturday at Purdue. Bittle being available then would come at a welcome time, considering the Ducks are already without UO superstar Jackson Shelstad (hand) and added to their long-term injury report with regular starter Devon Pryor (groin) and fellow center Ege Demir (shoulder). At the latest, Bittle's status will be updated Saturday via the Big Ten availability report.

Out for approximately one month
Bittle (foot) is out for approximately one month, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Impact
Bittle's last year of collegiate eligibility will be affected by a foot injury he suffered sometime around the Oregon-Nebraska game that saw UO decimated, both in-game and physically. Oregon's team is already without Jackson Shelstad (hand), so the Ducks will have to rely on less proven options to step up while their superstar center recovers. But with Bittle averaging 16.3 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.3 blocks this season, replacing his production will be incredibly difficult.

Dealing with foot injury
Bittle is dealing with an apparent foot injury that will sideline him for an extended period of time, Dylan Burkhardt of UMHoops.com reports.
Impact
Coach Dana Altman mentioned on Thursday's radio show that Bittle is dealing with a foot injury and expects him to be out a while. Bittle is undergoing an MRI to confirm the severity of the injury. Ege Demir could be the main beneficiary for additional minutes while Bittle is sidelined.

Continues hot streak in OT loss
Bittle contributed 28 points (11-21 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT), eight rebounds, two assists and one steal across 30 minutes during Monday's 88-85 OT loss to Rutgers.
Impact
Bittle has been on an absolute tear in his last four games, averaging 24.5 points in that span and scoring 28 points twice. And yet, even with his huge scoring output, he's remained active on he glass and has taken his passing to another level, averaging 3.0 assists in his last four contests as well. Bittle has really woken up at the right time for Oregon, even as the Ducks lost a heartbreaker in New Jersey on Monday night.
