Syracuse has been without its top center options for some time now due to injury, but few have made the Orange pay for it like Williams. Not only was this a new career high for the 7-0 sophomore, but it was also the first time all year he had recorded a 20-point effort. With double-digit rebounds in three of his last four games to boot, Williams appears to be heating up at just the right time for a Duke team with National Championship aspirations.

Impact Williams struggled to make an impact on the glass since his four rebounds were his lowest output since the beginning of January, but he had another strong defensive showing and was very efficient in terms of his scoring figures. Williams is averaging 13.1 points per game over his last eight games while scoring in double digits six times in that span.
