Impact Kriisa missed the first nine games of the season while serving a suspension for accepting improper benefits during his time at Arizona, but it looks like he's now in the clear. Not only is he playing, but the senior guard attempted the second-most field goals of any West Virginia player. Kriisa's return ended up bumping Josiah Harris out of the starting lineup and also resulted in a season-low minutes total for Kobe Johnson, who had been manning the point guard position in his absence. However, the new alignment didn't lead to immediate team success, as West Virginia fell to 4-6 on the season. It was also reported Monday that starting center Jesse Edwards will miss roughly four weeks with a wrist injury, so the hits keep coming despite the returns of both Kriisa and Noah Farrakhan (eligibility).

Impact Kriisa admitted to receiving "impermissible benefits" while enrolled at Arizona.
