Impact Rivera was merely a backup option at Fordham, as evidenced by the fact that he started only three of his 32 appearances, although he still averaged 10.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 0.7 steals across 25.2 minutes per contest. He's in line to play for a third different program in three college years.

Impact It's odd that a leading scorer is suddenly absent without an explanation from the team, but that was the case Thursday. Will Richardson stepped into the starting lineup as a result, while Japhet Medor led the offensive charge with 23 points (and is now the new leading scorer at 11.8 ppg). If there was any lingering injury concern for Rivera, Thursday would have been a good time for a maintenance day at least, as Fordham isn't scheduled to take the court again until Dec. 30 against Columbia.
