Impact Whaley fainted following Wednesday's double overtime win over Auburn. While he's believed to be fine following the incident, he'll get at least one day of rest before returning to the court. Tyler Polley and Akok Akok should see increased run against the Spartans.

Impact Whaley played 43 minutes in the contest and fainted after standing up. Fortunately, it doesn't appear to be anything serious and he should be ready for next Tuesday's game versus Maryland-Eastern Shore. The senior finished with two points, seven boards, four blocks and four assists.

Impact Whaley saw half of the minutes Wednesday that he saw against Coppin State in the previous contest, likely due to both the ankle issue he had coming into the contest and the fact that the game was a blowout. There hasn't been word of any sort of setback, so the senior figures to continue being heavily involved in the rotation moving forward.

Impact Whaley was deemed a game-time decision leading up to the contest but will indeed get the start, suggesting he should be headed toward his normal allotment of work. Through two games, the senior is averaging 5.0 points, 3.0 assists, 2.0 rebounds, a block and a steal over 24.5 minutes per game.

It doesn't seem like something that is going to be a problem moving forward, but it at least explains the limited minutes late, especially given the blowout nature of the contest. Fellow forwards Adama Sanogo (20 points) and Akok Akok (12 points) seemed to pick up their scoring a bit as a result.
