Impact While his participation in warmups was more to get Bosmans-Verdonk a feel for what coach Brad Underwood called "gameday emotion," the redshirt freshman has at least returned to practice on a limited basis. He'll presumably be on a minutes restriction there for the foreseeable future as the Illini look to take a conservative approach, which makes him unlikely to suit up Tuesday against Illinois. Once Bosmans-Verdonk does become available, he definitely won't be cracking the starting five due to the depth and experience of Illinois. However, he could provide some much-needed depth at power forward, potentially cutting into the minutes of Da'Monte Williams and Jacob Grandison.
