Kentucky’s Devin Askew got to work after a bumpy start. The results are showing Askew has thrived since getting thrust back into the starting lineup three games ago.

Starts but struggles Askew had seven points (3-9 FG, 1-5 3Pt), three rebounds, three assists and two steals in Saturday's loss to Louisville.

Impact Askew returned to the starting lineup after coming off the bench for the previous two games. However, the freshman struggled overall from the floor, shooting just 33 percent. In seven games played, Askew is posting 6.6 rebounds, 2.6 rebounds and 2.1 assists per outing.

Back in starting five Askew is in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against Louisville, Shannon Russell of The Athletic reports.

Impact Askew re-enters the starting lineup after a two-game hiatus of coming off the bench. He'll replace Terrance Clark who is out of the starting unit for the first time this season. Askew is averaging 6.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and two assists in 26.8 minutes this season and will accompany Davion Mintz in the backcourt as the Wildcats try to upset Louisville on the road during Saturday's in-state matchup.

Not starting Saturday Askew isn't starting Saturday's game against Notre Dame, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.

Impact Askew was in the starting lineup for each of the first four games of his collegiate career, but he had minimal output in each of the last three contests. He'll retreat to the bench Saturday with Davion Mintz starting in his place.
