Impact Omoruyi suffered a non-contact knee injury two minutes into the second half and required assistance getting off the court. He went back into the locker room and later returned to the bench with a brace on his right knee but never re-entered the game. Head coach Steve Pikiell couldn't provide much of an update on the injury after the game but is hopeful the issue is nothing major. Omoruyi is expected to have his knee checked out Monday to determine the severity of the injury.

Puts up double-double Wednesday Omoruyi totaled 14 points (6-6 FG, 2-4 FT), 11 rebounds and one steal over 22 minutes in Wednesday's 86-63 win over Sacred Heart.

Impact Omoruyi earned a spot in the starting five for his first NCAA action Wednesday, and he proved himself in his debut by posting a double-double. It's unclear how he'll respond to tougher competition later in the season, but he got off to a strong start in his first game with the Scarlet Knights.
