Impact Omoruyi hasn't been much of a scoring threat for the Crimson Tide this season, and despite starting in all 21 games he's averaging just 18.4 minutes. He's been highly efficient, hitting 75.9 percent of his shots from the field, but he's attempting 3.8 shots each game as opposed to 7.9 last year. Simply put, the center has seen his role shrink in Tuscaloosa, but he's still playing said role very well.

Impact Omoruyi's minutes have taken a significant hit upon transferring to Alabama, as he often cedes time at center to both Aiden Sherrell and Grant Nelson. The Rutgers transfer is efficient with his opportunities, however, and he now has double-digit points in back-to-back contests for the first time since the first two games of the 2024-25 season. The more careful shot selection has led to a shooting percentage of 73.3, shattering his previous career high.
