Expected to multiple weeks Hopkins (knee) "has a chance" to return in time for the Battle for Atlantis Tournament that kicks off against Oklahoma on Nov. 27, Bill Koch of The Providence Journal reports.

Impact Hopkins has reportedly been able to return to full contact drills recently at practice, but head coach Kim English expects the senior forward to miss the next couple weeks. The 6-foot-7 senior continues to deal with a knee issue that has plagued him since his ACL tear in January, but he should be an impact player for the Friars when healthy.

Even worse, one of McNamara's later posts quoted Providence head coach Kim English saying he was not confident about Hopkins being available for the November game, making his status still doubtful.
