Near double-double in win Gold accumulated 10 points (3-6 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds and one block over 21 minutes during Wednesday's 100-82 win over Southern University.

Impact Gold was a rebound away from recording a double-double in Wednesday's win, in what would have been the first of his collegiate career. Although he did not quite hit the mark, he still led the team in rebounding and scored double digit points. He also made two of his five 3-pointers as he continued to show his range that he established over the past three seasons with the Golden Eagles. Gold is not the type of player to put up huge numbers on the box score every night, but he should continue to be a consistent contributor.

Big 13 points even in loss Gold ended with 13 points (4-11 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 3-4 FT), seven rebounds, two blocks and two steals across 36 minutes during Saturday's 86-84 OT loss to St. John's.

Impact Gold put together a solid performance stat-wise against the Johnnies, but he did struggle to make some important threes that could have put the Golden Eagles ahead at the end. Nonetheless, he did still finish with a ten-game best seven rebounds, and his best block, steal total since Jan. 7. He has shown sparks of good paint presence in the latter half of the season, but he'll need to solidify his play for the conference tournament starting this upcoming Thursday versus Xavier.

Impact Gold saw his best scoring game of the season in the 30-point win over the Friars. The junior forward also tacked on six rebounds, which is above is 4.1 average per game this year. He has had some struggles with being a force in the paint and scoring, but he'll have plenty of chances to do both in the Golden Eagles' final three games of the regular season.

Held scoreless against Bulldogs Gold ended Tuesday's 78-69 win over Butler with zero points (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt) and seven rebounds in 26 minutes.

Impact Gold was without a point for the first time the season, and he only attempted two shots -- both of the three-point variety. He at least did some work on the glass to salvage the day for fantasy managers. The low output simple appears to be matchup related, as he committed zero personal fouls in the contest. Gold will likely need to contribute more in the scoring department for Marquette to see continued success, as the Golden Eagles are about to run through a gauntlet of Big East matchups that includes UConn (Feb. 1), St. John's (Feb. 4) and Creighton (Feb. 8).

Impact In his worst offensive performance of the season, Gold came up big on the defensive side with a season-high four steals and a tied season-best four blocks. The junior forward still hasn't fit into a true offensive role with the Golden Eagles yet this season, but his efforts on the defensive side have made him a big asset for the squad especially in close matchups.

Impact Gold hasn't been the biggest offensive contributor this whole season, but he shined when needed against the Bulldgos. The Australian center now has three straight performances with nine points, but it seems like he's been getting more involved when getting the ball in his hands. The junior was a perfect 4-for-4 including one three-pointers, and this level of efficiency could help him score even more in the coming conference outings.

Impact Gold put forward a season-high 11 points for the Golden Eagles, and it came at the right time as they upset the Boilermakers. The 6-foot-11 forward hasn't been the hugest offensive contributor so far this season, but his presence in the paint has been a good sight for Marquette and he's now averaging a still consistent 7.3 points and 3.3 rebounds per game.
