Impact Sharp connected on five triples and swiped three as the Cougars overcame a poor first half and pulled away late to take down the Bears. It was the fifth time this season Sharp has connected on at least five shots from downtown. Sharp entered the game having shot just 5-for-28 (17.9-percent) across his previous three games but he and the Cougars are hoping that this performance is a sign that he's rounding back into form in time for the postseason, with the Big 12 tournament starting up next week.

Impact After failing to reach double figures on the scoreboard in nine of 10 games, Tugler has now posted 14 points in back-to-back contests. The junior forward came off the bench for the first time this season as Kalifa Sakho received the start on senior night. The Cougars are hoping this recent spark is a sign of things to come as Tugler has seen a precipitous drop in his production in recent weeks. Even with the success over the last two games, Tugler is averaging just 6.8 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.3 blocks across his last 12 games.

Impact Flemings led the way offensively, tallying 21 points and dishing out seven dimes as the Cougars rebounded from a poor start to pull away from the Bears. The star freshman, who filled out the rest of his stat line with three boards, two steals and a block, reached the 20-point plateau for the 11th time this season and the sixth time in conference play, though it's just the second time in the last 10 that he's reached that mark. With just one game remaining prior to the conference tournament, Flemings is averaging 17.5 points, 5.5 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals against Big 12 competition.

Tounde Yessoufou - Scores 20, nabs first double double Yessoufou registered 20 points (7-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 12 rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals in 38 minutes during Wednesday's 77-64 loss to Houston.
Impact Yessoufou ripped down a season high in boards while reaching the 20-point mark for the 11th time to collect his first double double of the season. It was an impressive performance, especially considering the competition as the 6-foot-5 freshman also contributed defensively with a couple of steals and a block. With just one game remaining prior to the conference tournament, Yessoufou is closing the season strong, averaging 18.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.6 steals over his last 12 games.
