Impact Uzan drained four triples en route to 18 points, his highest point total since recording 26 against Syracuse on Nov. 24. The senior point guard has not been as impactful offensively to this point as was expected coming into the season, having failed to reach double figures in scoring in four of his past five games prior to Saturday. While the dip in production is coinciding with the breakout performance from freshman Kingston Flemings, don't be surprised if Saturday's effort serves as a springboard for the talented Uzan who will be more heavily relied upon to produce now that conference play has begun.

Impact Flemings was a menace on the defensive end, swiping five as Houston held on to defeat the Bearcats. The freshman wing also led the team with 19 points and six dimes as he put together an impressive performance on both ends. Flemings has had a highly impactful first season thus far for the defending national runners-up and has tallied 15-plus points, five-or-more assists and two-or-more steals in five of the past six contests.
