Impact Mills has come into his own as of late. After an 18-point performance in the narrow Feb. 1 loss to Purdue, he was granted a place in the starting five for the first time since early January. In the three games since, he's averaging 15.7 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.0 assists on 60 percent shooting from the field and 43 percent shooting from distance. There haven't been many bright spots on this dismal Terps team, but the freshman Mills is certainly one of them.

The freshman guard hasn't been the most efficient this season, shooting under 40 percent from the field, but he's still proving to be a capable scorer more often than not. Consistency -- for Mills and the Maryland squad as a whole -- will be key moving forward.

Impact Mills had started the last four games for the Terps, but he was moved to the bench for just the fourth time this season and predictably, he didn't offer much in the way of production. 13 minutes isn't much time on the court, but Mills still put up four shots; he just couldn't convert more than one of them. As long as the freshman guard's minutes and place in the Maryland rotation continue to fluctuate, he should be viewed with extreme caution from a fantasy perspective.

Mills appears to be at his best when he has free reign to take his shots, but the freshman guard also added eight boards in an encouraging showing on the glass. There will be growing pains with Mills, but he looks primed to be a big contributor all season.
