"We work on the basics every three days, on our principles. We put a lot into it. At the moment, we're doing very well to ensure that everyone is functioning and ready. That's a very valuable asset."

The German also praised the unity in the squad, revealing that the training ground is as competitive as the matches themselves.

"Even the players who don't play that much are pushing hard every day and busting their asses. This keeps the level high. Everyone puts their ego aside. We need everyone," he added.
