Warrick scores 22, Northern Kentucky beats Detroit Mercy 79-67
HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. (AP) — Marques Warrick scored 22 points as Northern Kentucky beat Detroit Mercy 79-67 on Saturday night, keeping the Titans winless this season.
Warrick also contributed five assists for the Norse (13-12, 8-6 Horizon League). Michael Bradley scored 16 points and added six assists and three steals. LJ Wells shot 5 of 7 from the field and 1 for 3 from the line to finish with 13 points.
Jayden Stone led the Titans (0-26, 0-15) in scoring, finishing with 24 points, six rebounds and two blocks. Marcus Tankersley added 24 points and two steals for Detroit Mercy. Edoardo Del Cadia also recorded 13 points, nine rebounds and two blocks.
