Richmond scores 18 as Seton Hall downs Saint Peter's 70-59
NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Kadary Richmond scored 18 points as Seton Hall beat Saint Peter's 70-59 in a season-opener on Monday night.
Richmond had six rebounds, seven assists, and six steals for the Pirates. Dre Davis added 14 points while shooting 4 of 8 from the field and 5 for 5 from the line, and he also had six rebounds. Al-Amir Dawes had 14 points and was 5 of 8 shooting (4 for 7 from 3-point range).
The Peacocks were led by Latrell Reid, who recorded 14 points. Michael Houge added 11 points for Saint Peter's. In addition, Armoni Zeigler finished with 10 points.

Both teams next play Saturday. Seton Hall hosts Fairleigh Dickinson and Saint Peter's goes on the road to play NJIT.
