Muhammad scores 17, New Mexico State defeats Duquesne 73-60

PITTSBURGH (AP) — Issa Muhammad's 17 points helped New Mexico State defeat Duquesne 73-60 on Sunday night.

Muhammad also added six rebounds for the Aggies (5-3). Deshawndre Washington scored 16 points and added nine rebounds. Xavier Pinson scored 11.

Jimmy Clark III led the Dukes (7-3) with 16 points and three steals. Joe Reece and Dae Dae Grant both scored 12. Reece added six rebounds and three steals.

New Mexico State led Duquesne 35-27 at the half, with Washington (12 points) their high scorer before the break.
