Miller's 28 lead Temple over Albany (NY) 78-73 at NABC Brooklyn Showcase
NEW YORK (AP) — Hysier Miller scored 28 points as Temple beat Albany (NY) 78-73 on Sunday night at the NABC Brooklyn Showcase.
Miller added four steals for the Owls (6-3). Joran Riley scored 19 points, going 5 of 11 from the floor, including 1 for 3 from 3-point range, and 8 for 10 from the foul line. Zion Stanford was 6-of-7 shooting and 4 of 7 from the free-throw line to finish with 16 points, while adding seven rebounds.
The Great Danes (6-4) were led in scoring by Sebastian Thomas, who finished with 18 points. Jonathan Beagle added 16 points and 15 rebounds for Albany. Tyler Bertram also had 15 points and two steals. The loss ended a five-game win streak for the Great Danes.
