King scores 27 as Richmond beats Saint Louis 80-64
ST. LOUIS (AP) — Jordan King scored 27 points and made 7 3-pointers as Richmond beat Saint Louis 80-64 on Wednesday night.
King also had four steals for the Spiders (21-7, 13-2 Atlantic 10 Conference). Neal Quinn added 14 points while finishing 7 of 10 from the floor, and he also had six rebounds and seven assists. Dji Bailey had 11 points and shot 4 of 8 from the field and 3 for 3 from the line.
Richmond’s 13 conference wins are tied for the second most in program history.
Gibson Jimerson led the Billikens (10-18, 3-12) in scoring, finishing with 21 points. Bradley Ezewiro added 17 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, two steals and three blocks for Saint Louis. In addition, Larry Hughes Jr. finished with 11 points and four assists.
Richmond took the lead with 2:20 left in the first half and never looked back. The score was 32-27 at halftime, with King racking up 16 points. Quinn scored a team-high 12 points in the second half.
