Davis scores 13 off the bench, Bradley downs Evansville 86-50
PEORIA, Ill. (AP) — Christian Davis' 13 points off of the bench helped lead Bradley to an 86-50 victory over Evansville on Wednesday night.
Davis added five rebounds and four steals for the Braves (11-5, 3-2 Missouri Valley Conference). Demarion Burch shot 5 of 5 from the field and 2 for 5 from the line to add 13 points. Malevy Leons shot 3 for 6, including 3 for 5 from beyond the arc to finish with 11 points, while adding seven rebounds.
Chuck Bailey III led the way for the Purple Aces (10-6, 1-4) with 18 points. Tanner Cuff added nine points for Evansville. Cameron Haffner also put up five points.
Bradley took the lead with 19:05 remaining in the first half and did not relinquish it. The score was 41-26 at halftime, with Burch racking up nine points. Bradley pulled away with a 17-1 run in the second half to extend a 17-point lead to 33 points.
