Bligen puts up 17, Fairleigh Dickinson knocks off LIU 82-75

TEANECK, N.J. (AP) — Heru Bligen's 17 points helped Fairleigh Dickinson defeat LIU 82-75 on Thursday night.
Bligen had four steals for the Knights (11-12, 5-3 Northeast Conference). Ansley Almonor scored 16 points while shooting 5 for 13, including 4 for 7 from beyond the arc. Sean Moore had 15 points and shot 5 for 13 (3 for 9 from 3-point range) and 2 of 4 from the free throw line.
Tai Strickland led the way for the Sharks (4-16, 3-5) with 21 points and seven rebounds. Nikola Djapa added 19 points, nine rebounds and two steals for LIU. In addition, Tana Kopa had 18 points.
