Andrews scores 25, UMKC takes down Denver 85-71

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Tyler Andrews scored 25 points as UMKC beat Denver 85-71 on Thursday night.
Andrews also added five rebounds for the Kangaroos (10-13, 4-4 Summit League). Jamar Brown scored 23 points while shooting 7 of 11 from the field and 8 for 8 from the line. Jayson Petty had 14 points and was 5 of 8 shooting (2 for 3 from 3-point range).
The Pioneers (13-10, 4-4) were led by Touko Tainamo, who posted 21 points and four blocks. Tommy Bruner added 12 points and nine assists for Denver. In addition, Pedro Lopez-Sanvicente finished with 11 points, eight rebounds and two blocks.
