She started the bout on autopilot and was nearly finished in the opening round. Things got slightly better in the second frame because Montague was tiring, but Bueno Silva had no energy herself to make any sort of push in Round 3. Considering her July 2023 submission win over Holly Holm was later changed to a no contest, Bueno Silva is now sporting a 6-fight winless streak. She will be 35 years old in August. It would be shocking to see the UFC run Bueno Silva back out there.

She spent the vast majority of the fight standing around and doing nothing and letting Cavalcanti lead the dance. Bueno Silva is never going to win a prolonged kickboxing match and this was the latest example of that. She failed on all three of her takedown attempts. Less than two years after fighting for a UFC title, Bueno Silva's time with the company has almost certainly come to an end.
