Winning streak climbs to five Edwards defeated Norma Dumont via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Las Vegas.

Impact Edwards entered having won each of her prior four fights, all via stoppage. She ran the streak to five here, but this looked much more like her earlier UFC bouts, that being very boring with neither side generating any offense of note. To Edwards' credit, she at least tried to make something happen. She continued to push forward and definitely landed the bigger shots, although you'd be hard pressed to remember even one truly notable one. On the flip side, Dumont accomplished nothing, which also was partly Joselyne's doing. It's still difficult to believe Edwards would have any success against the best the female bantamweight division has to offer, but it's impossible to argue with the results of late.

Impact Edwards will fill in against Norma Dumont after Yana Santos withdrew due to undisclosed reasons. The 30-year-old from Panama has won her last four fights dating back to October of 2024.

Gets revenge on Nora Cornolle Edwards defeated Nora Cornolle via submission (rear-naked choke) at 2:44 of Round 2 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Houston.

Impact Edwards gets revenge for a September 2023 unanimous decision loss to Cornolle which she clearly deserved to win, only to have all three judges get it wrong. It took Edwards a round to find her range, but once she did, it was smooth sailing. The second round lasted less than three minutes, but Edwards managed to land two takedowns and 14 significant strikes during that span, many of which could have ended the fight on their own if referee Jacob Montalvo was paying attention. Edwards has won four straight dating back to October 2024, all via stoppage, but they have come against the lowest level of competition possible. She needs a stiffer challenge her next time out.

Looks to run streak to four Edwards will face Nora Cornolle in a bantamweight matchup at UFC Houston on Feb. 21, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.

Impact It was an excellent 2025 calendar year for Edwards, who picked up two first-round stoppages, including a POTN bonus in August, to run her winning streak to three. She now gets an opportunity to face a higher-ranked opponent in Cornolle, who also happens to have lost two of her last three. Edwards will enter with advantages in height, reach and volume striking.

Impact Edwards weathered some early uppercuts and an eye poke, but it was clear she was the stronger fighter, and her five-inch reach advantage was soon made apparent. A quick 1-2 combo was all it took to have Cachoeira out on her feet, and she worked in a few follow-up shots to erase any doubt. Edwards has now won three in a row, all via stoppage. This victory would go on to earn her a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus. She'll be closing in on title-implicating fights in the bantamweight division with just another win or two and is due for a bigger name her next time out.

New opponent scheduled Edwards is scheduled to compete against Priscila Cachoeira in a bantamweight fight at UFC Vegas 109 on Aug. 9, per Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl.

Impact Edwards and Mayra Bueno Silva (undisclosed) were scheduled to fight at UFC Vegas 109. Dorff reports that the latter is out, which resulted in Cachoeira being Edwards' new opponent. Between the latter two, the former is coming off a win over Josiane Nunes.

Impact Edwards will look to establish a three-fight win streak, which began with a submission win over Tamires Vidal and continued with a TKO to Chelsea Chandler. Meanwhile, Edwards' upcoming opponent is fighting off a loss, meaning momentum is on La Pantera's side.

It's certainly more of a fluke result as opposed to a sign of things to come, but the end result either way was Edwards' first knockout win in almost five years.
