Impact Edwards gets revenge for a September 2023 unanimous decision loss to Cornolle which she clearly deserved to win, only to have all three judges get it wrong. It took Edwards a round to find her range, but once she did, it was smooth sailing. The second round lasted less than three minutes, but Edwards managed to land two takedowns and 14 significant strikes during that span, many of which could have ended the fight on their own if referee Jacob Montalvo was paying attention. Edwards has won four straight dating back to October 2024, all via stoppage, but they have come against the lowest level of competition possible. She needs a stiffer challenge her next time out.

Looks to run streak to four Edwards will face Nora Cornolle in a bantamweight matchup at UFC Houston on Feb. 21, Marcel Dorff of Eurosport.nl reports.

Impact It was an excellent 2025 calendar year for Edwards, who picked up two first-round stoppages, including a POTN bonus in August, to run her winning streak to three. She now gets an opportunity to face a higher-ranked opponent in Cornolle, who also happens to have lost two of her last three. Edwards will enter with advantages in height, reach and volume striking.

She'll be closing in on title-implicating fights in the bantamweight division with just another win or two and is due for a bigger name her next time out.

Impact Edwards and Mayra Bueno Silva (undisclosed) were scheduled to fight at UFC Vegas 109. Dorff reports that the latter is out, which resulted in Cachoeira being Edwards' new opponent. Between the latter two, the former is coming off a win over Josiane Nunes.
