Week 11 DraftKings Lineup Suggestions From FOX Sports and a DraftKings Pro

Throughout the 2014 NFL season, FOX Sports fantasy contributor Adam Meyer will square off against DraftKings pro Peter Jennings in one-week fantasy football contests on DraftKings.com

Final score:
There’s a new leader in the clubhouse. For the first time in 11 weeks, I have the head-to-head lead against a daily fantasy sports pro.
All of my wide receivers were the MVPs. Normally, I look for value in the running game and spend on receivers. This week, I found value in both my RBs and WRs.
Kelvin Benjamin scored the most points for my lineup (28.9 points). He was one of my three lineup suggestions from Friday’s post. Benjamin was also the third-highest scoring receiver of the day. The reasoning stays the same: When a No. 1 receiver is less than $5K, it should be an automatic selection.
Brandon Marshall was another stellar choice out of the receiver pool. Jay Cutler connected with BMarsh on a 44-yard deep TD reception in the second quarter. Cutler went back to Marshall in the fourth quarter. Marshall was calling for the ball before the snap was made, and he didn’t disappoint. He finished the day with 28 points, which were the fourth-most points for a fantasy receiver on Sunday.
A.J. Green was my third, and “most-expensive” receiver. His 127 receiving yards, six catches, and a TD equated for 27.7 points. That made him the fifth-highest scoring receiver in the day.
Bargains were plentiful in the running game. As soon as you hear that a starting running back is out, your first instinct should be to choose the backup. Gio Bernard and Arian Foster were the big names missing from the starting lineups on Sunday. That meant, Jeremy Hill and Alfred Blue were automatics for me. Hill rushed for 154 yards in the win over the Saints. Blue ran for 156 yards against the Browns.
Blue’s 18.6 points, and his bottom-of-the-barrel $3K price tag, were shared by me and my opponent. We also both had Jimmy Graham and Denver’s D/ST. That was a bonus for me because, other than Ahmad Bradshaw, those were my worst contributors in Week 11.
Six weeks remain in the regular season. I can split the rest of the contests with Peter Jennings and still win the year. Now that I’ve got the lead, it’s time to add to it.

Peter's Picks:
Adam's Picks:
RB – Ahmad Bradshaw, IND (5,700)
Vegas has posted an over/under of 57 ½ total points between the Patriots and the Colts on Sunday night. Bradshaw is one of the most consistent, underpriced options on the table. He has scored four TDs in the past four weeks. Bradshaw is also good for at least three receptions per contest in the past five games. I’m expecting around 90 total yards, four catches, and a TD (19 points).
WR – Kelvin Benjamin, CAR (4,900)
In Week 10, I had to make a last-minute adjustment and remove Benjamin from my lineup in order to win. This week, I’m absolutely starting him. He’s leading the Panthers in targets (85), yards (659), and TDs (seven). Anytime you can find a No. 1 receiver for less than 5K, you take it.
D/ST – Denver Broncos (3,000)
This is a must-play for everyone. Shaun Hill hasn’t completed a pass since Adrian Peterson was playing (Week 1). The Broncos are completely shutting down the opponents’ running attack (67 yards per game on the ground), which will make the Rams one-dimensional. I’m expecting at least two interceptions, three sacks, and either a TD off a turnover, or via special teams.
