Weber signs, helps Grizzlies win ... then gets videobombed by Birdman

It was all a whirlwind for Briante Weber.

With Mario Chalmers out for the season after an Achilles tendon tear, the Memphis Grizzlies signed the D-League point guard a 10-day contract Friday. He proceeded to start in his first game, a 121-114 overtime victory over the Pelicans.

"Dreams do come true," the VCU product said afterward.

Asked by FOX Sports Southeast's Chris Vernon about how crazy it had all been, Weber began answering just as veteran power forward slowly walked behind him and stared at the camera ... unbeknownst to Weber.

Weber played 40 minutes, scoring 10 points and adding seven assists as the short-handed Grizzlies earned their first series sweep of New Orleans.
