Watch Gronk playing dodgeball on an ice rink while wearing sneakers

It's a wholly unexpected and unsual combination, we know, but like everything involving Gronk it's pretty great.

On Wednesday, lovable New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski competed in a game of dodgeball during an intermission of a Florida Everblades game. The Everblades are the minor-league affiliate of the Carolina Hurricanes and Tampa Bay Lightning.

Wearing sneakers on the ice, Gronk does a decent job of staying upright and manages to launch some darts at opponents. This video is only two musclehead henchmen or one Chuck Norris short of the pinnacle of sports blog fodder and general enjoyment of things.
