Two O-linemen out for Chiefs; Charles probably will be, too

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 10:42 p.m. ET

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Chiefs will be without starting offensive lineman Parker Ehinger and backup Jah Reid, and likely without star running back Jamaal Charles for Sunday's game against the New York Jets.

Ehinger will miss his second straight game with a concussion. Reid is out with a knee injury.

Meanwhile, Charles was listed as doubtful for the Jets on Friday's injury report, and it is becoming increasingly likely that the four-time Pro Bowl player will not play before the Chiefs' Week 5 bye.

After the Jets, Kansas City visits the Steelers before getting a week off.

Charles has been practicing since training camp, but coach Andy Reid has been cautious when it comes to activating him for game day. He tore the ACL in his right knee in Week 5 last season.
