Triple-A Fresno Grizzlies to play as 'Tacos' on Aug. 6
Minor-league baseball teams perpetually search for promotional events that perfectly meld the outlandish, nostalgic and fun. The Fresno Grizzlies, with the announcement that on Aug. 6 they're changing the team's name to the "Tacos," have come pretty darn close to the holy grail of promotions.

The Grizzlies (Houston Astros' Triple-A affiliate) are making a full name and uniform change in conjunction with the fifth annual Taco Truck Throwdown, where last year fans consumed 27,000 tacos at the festival.

You're feeling hungry right now, aren't you? Yeah.
The GrizzlyTacos are selling hats, too, if you're interested. I don't care that the Fresno marketing folks have found a way to get me to pour money out of my wallet. It's just a great idea, and who doesn't want a taco hat?
The only thing missing, potentially? That's right: TACO CANNON!!!
