Timberwolves sign first-round pick Justin Patton

Justin Patton is officially a Minnesota Timberwolf.

The 6-foot-11 center/forward signed with the Timberwolves on Tuesday, joining a talented front court that already consists of Karl-Anthony Towns, Gorgui Dieng, Cole Aldrich and Taj Gibson.

Patton recently underwent foot surgery and will not play in the 2017 NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.
