Cate, whose father is a three-time Sprint Cup champion crew chief and whose mother is a former Camping World Truck and XFINITY series driver, was seen sitting inside a race car on Friday at Ray's impressive racing shop in Mooresville, North Carolina.
And this wasn't just any race car, either. It was a car that holds special meaning to racing legend Mario Andretti, a good friend of Ray Evernham's.
