Packers release rookie RB Pressley

The Green Bay Packers have released running back Jhurell Pressley just a week after claiming him off waivers from the Minnesota Vikings.

An undrafted rookie out of New Mexico, Pressley posted a 4.38-second time in the 40-yard dash at his pro day, as well as a short shuttle time of 4.06 seconds, figures that would have been among the fastest at the NFL combine.

Pressley was inactive for the Packers in Week 1.
