Vernon Davis has guts.
Taking on your boss is always risky, but the San Francisco 49ers tight end threw caution to the wind and asked NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell a hard-hitting question at a his "State of the NFL" press conference today.
Davis, who was covering the event for TheMMQB.com, asked Goodell why NFL players don't have free health care for life.
He struggled a bit with the question because he was reading it off of a notepad (and it seemed as though someone else wrote it for him), but it was still a solid job.
