Michael Strahan sacks a shark in 'Sharknado,' but check out what Kelly Ripa does

Being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame is great and all, but it's not necessarily the most awesome thing to happen with Michael Strahan in the past few days.

The former New York Giants great-turned-FOX-NFL-commentator has a scintillating cameo in SyFy's "Sharknado 2: The Second One," which premiered last week.

Strahan, in his role as co-host of "Live with Kelly and Michael," tackles a shark, which is impressive enough, but we really like the way Kelly Ripa dispatches a hammerhead with a well-placed stomp of her high-heeled shoe.

Strahan is in good company, as the campy TV movie about sharks raining down from the sky is loaded with faces you recognize, including former pro wrestling star Kurt Angle, Jared from Subway, the "Today" show's Matt Lauer and Al Roker, rapper Biz Markie, famous daughter Kelly Osbourne and "Airplane" icon Robert Hays.

Blink and you might miss someone getting his or her head chomped off.
