Mark Cuban answers Kevin Durant's All-Star challenge

Published Feb. 7, 2015 9:47 p.m. ET

Remember that time Kevin Durant challenged all his All-Star naysayers? While some criticized that the reigning NBA MVP didn't deserve a spot this year due to his injury-shortened season, Durant came up with the perfect response: "Whoever want my spot can play me one-on-one for it."

Challenged issued, and it seems, challenge accepted.

Prior to the Mavericks game against the Trail Blazers Saturday night, owner Mark Cuban told Earl K. Sneed of Mavs.com that he could beat Durant and win the spot.

Obviously, this would probably never happen, but just take this time to imagine how awesome it would be to see Cuban play in the All-Star Game.

Nobody else is representing Dallas this weekend, so it looks like it's all on Cuban's shoulders now.
