Lucroy a finalist for National League Gold Glove

Published Oct. 27, 2016 2:45 p.m. ET

Jonathan Lucroy is no longer a member of the Milwaukee Brewers but he could still win an award as a Brewer.

Rawlings announced its Gold Glove finalists Thursday and Lucroy was one of three catchers up for the National League award, along with San Francisco's Buster Posey and St. Louis' Yadier Molina.

Lucroy was dealt at the trading deadline to the Texas Rangers, who of course reside in the American League.

In 82 games with the Brewers at catcher, Lucroy posted a .991 fielding percentage and was second in the league in caught stealing percentage (min. 10 attempts) at 40 percent.

A Milwaukee Brewers catcher has never won a Gold Glove.
