Kipnis hits 20th home run, joins three other second basemen in Indians history

With a big blast in the first inning, Jason Kipnis added his name to a short list of prestigious second basemen in franchise history.
Joining Joe Gordon, Roberto Alomar and fan favorite Carlos Baerga, Kipnis became the fourth player in Indians history at the position to record 20 homers in a single season.
Knowing the feat he accomplished, his teammates were in the dugout waiting to give him a proper celebration.
Not a better way for @TheJK_Kid to celebrate his 20th home run of the season than with his @Indians teammates!https://t.co/oTrlH0nbOc

According to SportsTime Ohio's Andre Knott, Kipnis named it "The Bar Mitzvah."

Kipnis, along with the rest of the Tribe, is swinging away this year. It's not only showing in the numbers, but also in the win column.
