Kenny Wallace takes his hauler through McDonald's drive-thru
FOX Sports NASCAR television analyst Kenny Wallace, who has made more than 900 starts as a driver in NASCAR's top three national touring series, now spends much of his little free time racing on dirt across the country.
He says race fans frequently ask him why he doesn't have a bigger hauler for his race cars.
Well, for one, racing on dirt now he doesn't need one quite as massive as the ones that used to transport his cars to NASCAR races in what are now the Sprint Cup, XFINITY and Camping World Truck Series.
But there is another very important reason, which Wallace demonstrated in his Facebook post below.
Ever the free spirit, he's always wanted to do something that he finally crossed off his bucket list: he and his dirt team took their hauler through a fast-food drive-thru after a recent race. You simply can't order Big Macs on the go like that when you're driving one of the larger haulers.
Actually, Wallace said he went for the fish sandwich, fries and an iced tea at the McDonald's near Champaign, Illinois. And he obviously gave the young woman who was running the drive-thru a story to tell.
