Jaguars game from London to be available for free on Yahoo

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 7:42 p.m. ET

The Jacksonville Jaguars' game Oct. 25 in London against the Buffalo Bills will be able to be viewed for free on any device by fans around the world.

The NFL and Yahoo! announced the partnership Wednesday making the Jaguars-Bills game available across multiple properties, including Yahoo, Yahoo Sports, Yahoo Screen, and Tumblr. The game will also be televised in both the Jacksonville and Buffalo markets at 9:30 a.m. ET.

While Yahoo and the NFL declined to disclose how much Yahoo had agreed to pay for the digital rights, one report suggested the league would receive a seven-figure fee from Yahoo.

"The NFL has always been committed to being at the forefront of media innovation," NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said in a statement. "Through this partnership with Yahoo -- one of the world's most recognizable digital brands -- we are taking another important step in that direction as we continue to closely monitor the rapidly evolving digital media landscape."

The game is the third in a four-year commitment the Jaguars have made to playing one home game a season in London. They lost to the San Francisco 49ers in 2013 and the Dallas Cowboys last year.
