Hirsute Twins fan is back after swapping No. 7 for No. 2

Two years ago, a Twins fan created a rather unique Joe Mauer jersey when he shaved the Minnesota catcher's name and No. 7 into his back hair at a game in Kansas City.

It appears he's back -- no pun intended -- and he's got a new jersey.

A fan was spotted at Friday's game in Denver between the Mariners and Twins with the name "DOZIER" shaved into his upper back. Accompanying the name was a giant No. 2, the number worn by Twins second baseman Brian Dozier, who leads Minnesota with 16 home runs this season. The fan was seated down the first base line at Coors Field, and several fans tweeted pictures of his one-of-a-kind back hair jersey.

While it's not 100 percent certain if it's the same fan as the one spotted at Kauffman Stadium in 2012, the bizarre nature -- and similarity -- of the two furry jerseys certainly makes it seem that way. After shaving "MAUER" in his back two years ago, the Twins fan must have had to wait two years before he could purchase, er, shave a new jersey.
