Eric Dickerson: Taking QB Jared Goff with top pick best move for Rams
Eric Dickerson ran for over 7,200 yards and scored 56 toudchdowns in 4 1/2 seasons (1983-87) with the Los Angeles Rams.
With his former team holding the No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft, the legendary running back offered up his thoughts on which player the Rams should take with their top selection.
Click to watch the above video (via TMZ Sports), where Dickerson says Cal quarterback Jared Goff is the smartest move for Los Angeles .... 'I think he's the best thing out there right now.'
And, count Rams linebacker Akeem Ayers as a Goff fan, too.
While all signs point to the Rams taking Goff, anything can happen in the crazy world of the NFL Draft -- especially when you have the No. 1 pick and are bringing back the NFL to a long-dormant market.
