DraftKings MLB Picks: Top Bargain plays for September 7th (7:00 PM Only)
Finding value is the ever so elusive, “Holy Grail” in Fantasy Baseball. Making cap room for pitchers and big bats can make all the difference in a lineup. With a little elbow grease in the research department, I’m hoping to offer a handful of players that could give critical salary relief for tonight’s DraftKings MLB picks.
Tonight’s 7:00 PM slate will feature 11 games, with the game in Colorado standing out with the highest run total. The Rockies are slight favorites, projected to score 6.1 runs. San Francisco is a close second at 6 runs. Given the drastic difference in team totals tonight, any player on SF or COL below the $4000 price point, should be added to the list of bargain plays.

Ramiel Tapia – COL (OF) – $2900
Ramiel Tapia had a great night for us last night, with 1 run, 1 RBI, 1 walk, and a stolen base. It seems that his price has yet to adjust properly, given his recent call up. He’ll face a righty tonight, and given Colorado’s projection, he’s a must play in cash games.
Tommy La Stella – CHC (2B/3B) – $3100
Tommy La Stella’s performance wasn’t anything to write home about. He did just barely reach value though, with a double. Tonight, he’ll again draw a righty, Matt Garza. The Cubs are road favorites and projected to score 4.9 runs.

Kelby Tomlinson – SF (2B/SS) – $3700
I mentioned it before, but again, if any cheaper players make the lineup from this game, they will automatically be worth a look. Kelby Tomlinson makes a good option at either second base or short stop tonight. He has a favorable match up against the lefty, Jorge De La Rosa. He currently holds a .361 wOBA against lefties. Kelby does also have some stolen base upside.
Andrew Toles – LAD (OF) – $2400
Andrew Toles has been making the best of every opportunity he gets with the Dodgers. Last night he was able to accrue 12 DK points and should hopefully be able to do more of the same tonight. He’ll face a lefty tonight, so be sure to check to see if he makes the lineup, but if he does, he’s a decent punt option.
Daniel Descalso – COL (1B/SS) – $3700
Daniel Descalso will get a crack at the right, Albert Suarez, where he holds a .345 wOBA split. We’d hope that he falls in the top six of the order, but he’ll be in play no matter where he’s hitting.
Note: Keep in mind that recommended plays are based off of early information and will be subject to change as lineups are released. Some cheaper players are more suspect to be scratched from the lineup or bumped down the lineup order.
