Oklahoma cornerback Zack Sanchez said playing against the Texas Tech offense is like playing against KD. "You're not going to shut them down. You've got to do your best to slow em down."
Well, most folks around Oklahoma, well, even those far beyond, know KD is short for Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant.
But that doesn't mean Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops knows.
"What's KD?" Stoops said Monday during his weekly media meeting when asked to comment on the quote from Sanchez.
Seems like just about everyone knows Durant by KD. You'd think that's the case for people involved in sports in Oklahoma would know, too.
But maybe Stoops really doesn't know. He's probably been trying to figure out how to beat Baylor and Texas.
