Daily Buzz: '12th Man' in the sky is pretty fly

If you happened to see a Seattle Seahawks-themed jet flying circles around eastern Washington today, don't be alarmed -- it was simply tracing the shape of a No. 12, in honor of the Seahawks' "12th Man" fan group and the team's appearance in this Sunday's Super Bowl.
The maiden voyage for the 747-8 Freighter, covered in Seahawks regalia, took off from Boeing Field airport at 11:13 a.m. PST and landed at 4:43 p.m. PST at Snohomish County airport after five hours, 30 minutes and 1,353 miles in the air. (The airports, themselves, are separated by only about 26 miles.)
When it was all said and done, the flight map made for a cool tribute to the Seahawks fans:

As it turns out, the aptly named Boeing Flight 12 isn't the only Seahawks-themed flight taking to the skies this week. Alaska Airlines is embarking on a special flight Saturday in a 737 decked out in team livery, as well.
But as fan tributes go, this is about as cool as it gets.
